We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Breakfast Cook and Prep to join our team and contribute to our guests' unforgettable dining experience.

Position: Breakfast Cook and Prep

Location: Lunenburg, Nova Scotia

Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation: Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring freshness, quality, and consistency.
  2. Prep Work: Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, cracking eggs, and measuring ingredients, to support efficient kitchen operations.
  3. Station Management: Manage the breakfast station efficiently, organizing and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely service and a smooth flow of operations.
  4. Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
  5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen team members to coordinate food production and ensure smooth communication and teamwork.
  6. Quality Control: Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process, making adjustments as needed to meet quality standards and guest expectations.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Previous experience in a breakfast cook or prep role preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
  2. Culinary Skills: Basic culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques, including frying, grilling, and baking.
  3. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
  4. Team Player: Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members.
  5. Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  6. Legal Authorization: Must be a Canadian citizen or have an appropriate work visa to be eligible for employment.
