Somewhere between a boutique Inn and a gracious home sits the Bluenose Lodge offering elegant hospitality in a relaxed atmosphere. Celebrating 78 years of continuous service in the UNESCO World Heritage designated town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.
Spend an evening in our elegant historic inn and enjoy the ambiance of yesteryear. Bluenose Lodge features 12 individually decorated guestrooms. Our newly re-opened dining room serves breakfast and supper to inn guests and members of the public.
Bluenose Lodge is located a short 5 minute walk to the harbour and the historic old town where guests might see the inn's namesake, the Bluenose II, in its home port located beside the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. Lunenburg itself is a charming community known for its shops, boutiques, restaurants and its arts and music festivals. Bluenose Lodge is a great base for discovering the entire South Shore of Nova Scotia - a short drive to Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, Chester, many beaches, golf courses, and a wide array of other outdoor activities.
