The Dining Room at Bluenose Lodge
Winter Service Hours - Thursday - Sunday 5pm for Dinner and Brunch Weekends 10-1pm
Located only a few minutes walk from the iconic sites of Lunenburg Harbour, the Dining Room at Bluenose Lodge is open seasonally for breakfast and supper to all visitors and residents of Nova Scotia’s most charming and picturesque seaside community.
Enjoy the best of from-scratch, East Coast dining and gracious hospitality in our 80-seat dining room. Daily menus feature local and sustainably caught seafood and farm-fresh vegetables and proteins and will be complemented by locally crafted beers, spirits and wines from around the region.
Open for Supper Thursday-Sunday 5pm-7pm, and Brunch Weekends 10am-1pm.

Our Chef - Konrad Haumering
"It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Head Chef, Konrad Haumering. A pillar of our culinary team and a cherished member of the Bluenose Lodge family, Konrad was more than just a talented chef – he was a kind, funny, and hardworking man whose presence brightened our kitchen and touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Konrad's passion for food was matched only by his dedication to his craft. His creativity knew no bounds, and his culinary creations delighted the palates of countless guests who dined at Bluenose Lodge. But beyond his culinary talents, Konrad will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his unwavering generosity, and his ability to bring joy to those around him.
The loss of Konrad leaves a void that cannot be filled, and he will be deeply missed by all of us here at Bluenose Lodge. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
In honor of Konrad's memory, we will continue to uphold the standards of excellence that he embodied, ensuring that his legacy lives on in every dish we serve. We invite you to join us in celebrating his life and the countless memories we shared together.

The dining room at Bluenose Lodge is available for events and private bookings. From the entire dining room for 70 people to our small private music room seating 16, Bluenose Lodge has a space that will accommodate your small to medium-sized event.
Our team looks forward to working with you and making your day special and care-free. Weddings, bridal showers, anniversaries, birthdays, celebrations of life, and more have been hosted at Bluenose Lodge for 78 years.
